Game made for Boss Rush Jam 2025.

In this top down boss-battle game you are a lumberjack with a powerful axe that obeys your commands, which you use to combat sentient trees looking for revenge.
Controls
W, A, S, D: Player movement
Arrow keys: Axe movement
Mechanics
The boss will attack you with all its might and you need to try and defeat it with your axe. However, just simply swinging your axe might not be enough, something tells me the overflowing power of the axe is awakened the more you let it roam free and break havoc in the forest!
Who knows, getting rid of those boss spawn trees might be rewarded as well!

The mechanics are simple but fun. The difficulty level is well balanced. It would be interesting to have some additional power related to the axe to give more variety to the actions. Loved the tree!
